Virtual Quilt Project

WOW (Women of Worldnet) are creating both a virtual quilt and a real quilt. Not being a quilter, I passed on the real quilt, but have thrown myself into creating my own square for the virtual quilt. I took my inspiration from Robin Wood's Tarot, and used a graphical quilting technique I had stumbled across at State of Entropy. Here is the result.

I chose the High Priestess because of an affinity I feel toward the card. The High Priestess is mysterious, empathetic, at one with nature and the spirit. She holds a book and a crystal ball, indicating to me a love of knowledge, and an insight into the unknowable. My choice of Robin Wood needs no explanation, I think. Her cards are, in a word, lovely.
