1999 Impreza RS 2.5 Roll Four (9/12/99)

I got up early one dreary sunday and took off to the mountains. I had been planning on going up Mt. Evans for a few days. I had been up to the base weeks before but didn't want to pay to go to the summit($6), but thisday it was worth it. It was hazy and rainy in Denver. Heading up to echo lake I was in the clouds and by the time i got to the ranger station on mount evans i was above the clouds. A most incredible sight to see the clouds against the mountains. It seemed to be an incredibly turbulant sea smashing against the mountains.

I-70 to Idaho Springs (Mount Evans exit is well marked), CO-103 to Echo Lake, Mount Evans is closed in the winter), The drive back into evergreen is beautiful into Wah Keeney Park (Evergreen).

This is coming back down at about the top of the clouds.
