Lori and Frank's Wedding
Lorien and Frank were married on May 27, 2001. Dorothy and I are very happy for them and wish them a long and joyful life together.

They were married at St. Clements Castle on the Connecticut River in Portland, CT. It is as lovely a place to get married as one can imagine.

Lorien and Frank have chosen a minister for their wedding. The Reverend Albert Ciarcia is a Unitarian minister emeritus. He has retired and specialized in performing weddings.
The following is from a newspaper article:
The Reverend Albert F. Ciarcia, an insurance executive in
Boston, Mass. before entering the ministry in 1948, is a graduate of St.
Lawrence University Theological School. He served as pastor in Norwich,
Connecticut from 1952 to 1954, followed by a three‑year ministry in New
York City, prior to coming to the Bridgeport, Connecticut church in 1957.
The latter church, under his leadership, relocated from
downtown Bridgeport to suburban Stratford, where Mr. Ciarcia served as minister
for thirty-two years.
While serving the New York City church in 1955, he was
awarded a medal "for the advancement of Peace" by King Paul and Queen
Frederika of Greece, for whom the minister served as Chaplain to American
dignitaries visiting Greece.
Mr. Ciarcia has served on the Education Committee of
the Connecticut Valley District of the Unitarian Universalist Association, as
chairman of its Publicity and Public Relations Committee, Editor of that
District's official publication, and as District President. He has been widely
active in innovating and implementing
social concern and action projects and activities in each of the cities he has served. In Bridgeport, he founded the
Social Action Department of the Council of Churches.
He is married to the former Jane Raymond of Woodstock,
New York, and they have two daughters, Holly and Joy.

Embrace the Music was written and read by the father of the bride during the wedding ceremony.
Embrace the Music
by Edward Zeiser
Dance
with her.
Lead gently and kindly.
Find the rhythm of life -- neither too fast nor too slow.
Look into her eyes and smile,
For the dance has just begun.
Dance with him.
Let your arm support and guide.
Embrace the music -- savor the ballad and salsa.
Look into her eyes and smile,
For the dance has just begun.
Dance together
Steady and confident -- across the floor.
Glide as one not a pas de deux.
Look into your partner's eyes and smile,
For the dance has just begun.
It was most appropriate that the father/daughter dance was I Hope You Dance, by Lee Ann Womack.
