Ed Dreams:            A dreamer of dreams and a travelin' man...

We all have dreams. I have been fortunate to have been able to do so much of what others merely dream of doing. There are more places to see, people to meet, and things to do. I like to make my dreams reality. Here are a few of my dreams.

If you can imagine it,
You can achieve it;
If you can dream it,
You can become it.
William Ward

Sometimes, one has conflicting dreams and desires. So many things to do and so much life to experience.

How very simple life would be
If only there were two of me
A Restless Me to drift and roam
A Quiet Me to stay at home
Don Blanding

Read the Double Life by Don Blanding. I found it in A Pirate Looks at Fifty. It is a good poem and expresses what many of us feel.

Take it all in, it's as big as it seems,
count all your blessings,
remember your dreams.

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost;

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
Eleanor Roosevelt

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity;
but the dreamers of the day are the dangerous men,
for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.
T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia)

All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

Not for everyone, but explore the website. Some practical sources of information about interesting, practical - or not so practical - places to live or retire.  Interesting reading.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight,
and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.
Oscar Wilde

The vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideal that you enthrone in
your heart - this you will build your life by, and this you will become.
