Once again i was so anxious to tear this down that i could barely finish taking pictures. I'm pretty sure there are some details that i'm forgetting but nonetheless...
This is an intergalactic transport which can be used for landing troops or vehicles on planets with relative ease. This is classified similarly to the Millenium Falcon as a light transport with some creature comforts and lots of speed. Not very defensible, it relies on fighter escorts in hostile sectors.
Building Notes: 7 interior lights/ 2 exterior. 1 battery pack(located in the bridge's roof) runs the 3 lights on the bridge level. 1 battery pack (located on the starboard side aft of the storage cells) runs 4 interior and the 2 exterior lights. There are also 4 strobe lights (blinking) when power is switch on for the retractable floor. These are run by the battery pack that also runs the motor for the retractable floor. A pneumatic compressor powered by a dedicated battery pack energizes the system for raising and lowering the landing gear. There are only 2 laser canons on this ship as it is accustomed to a fighter escort in hostile sectors. Each leg of the landing gear has 4 shocks with a limiting stop to keep the shocks from exploding under the pressure of the ship. (While in early construction one pneumatic spring failed and was replaced with the current system).
I began by building a ladder type frame with technic beams overlapped with technic pegs holding them together.
The building of this ship covered more than 6 months (with sporadic construction bursts throughout that time.
